Leadership & Level 1 Coaching Course
In January we had 7 of our young leaders participate in a Youth Development Program held by HAW.
Jacob, Jake, Ryan, Will, Dion, Sara, and Tessa attended a 4-day course which aimed to inspire them to be active role models within the hockey community. They completed a level 1 coaching course, listened to excellent guest speakers, Clarke Rossiter (pictured) who motivated and challenged their thinking at LaTrobe Univeristy, and were introduced to a variety of thought processes for on and off the field – nutrition, goal setting and mind fitness for example.
They enjoyed the program and thank HAW for organising and supporting this great opportunity.
